Site Search

Use this little form to search my website. Will not find words of three letters or less--in fact it will automatically reject a search with a small word in it, so no "of" or "the", and it isn't case sensitive. Yeah, it'll turn up scads of code (don't be alarmed by that), but it could be useful if you came here looking for something specific! If you get a 500 error, just try again.

If you're looking for Sam or Fei...look for a word similar, like Samwise or Xenogears. If you're looking for Cid...turn on your monitor.

The way this search works is it picks the word out of the page--it may be the page title, it may be a word visible on the page, or it may be a word hidden in an HTML notation, but it will not locate actual files by file name; apparently it ignores the contents of certain HTML tags. If the word is in the file, it will provide a link to the file; it won't show you where in the file the word is located. Also, several special characters will not show up; for instance, if you look for Olórin in the search, you won't find him because the actual code for the word contains HTML to instruct your browser to display an "o" with an acute accent on it. You won't find the word without accents unless I goofed and typed them wrong, or else someone else did in a fic I host here. For the same reasons, this search will not turn up any of the Japanese I have on my site, but it will come up with English words on the Shift-JIS encoded pages. (If you do accidentally run into any of the Shift-JIS pages I have, the search page will go into Shift-JIS too...but the searches will still work, gobbledygook or not.) This search ONLY searches the contents of my website, and it seems to be a tad finicky about when it wants to work...not an infallible, but nevertheless useful tool.

These are the locations found in the Dragon Library, my site devoted to one Cid-like corner of the Final Fantasy VII universe:

Nonfiction: A section devoted to theories, biographies (of fictional and nonfictional persons) and facts concerning Cid in the actual game. Minor essays, stuff like that.
Fanfiction: The portion of the Library devoted to fictions that have Cid in them to an advanced degree. I also added a sub-section for non-Cid saturated fics. Seperated into Serious Works, Humor, The Bone Yard (home of dead Cid fics), and Non-Cid Fics--this is the place to find many of my non-Cid related fics as well as others.
Fanart: For the small *ahem* collection of fanart I have. Please visit the other half of this site for my real art. Please? There's a LOT of stuff here--mostly FFVII, but there's a section for other works. Fanart includes illustrations for my fics (and a few others), a form of screen capture hacking, some portraits for the movie Lord of the Rings, and a touch of other minor etcetera that isn't found elsewhere.
Periodicals: This is almost a catch-all. Titled "Periodicals" because it contains doujinshi scans, comics for FFVII, Star Trek, Metal Gear Solid, Lord of the Rings, and custom Triple Triad Cards.
Etcetera: This contains the How to Date Yuffie guide, and a How to Date Barret one, too. Plus some etcetera concerning weapons, timelines, summons and such. Also the repository for humorous things like MSTs and drinking games...plus a small page dedicated to Mountain Horned Dragons.

AnneX: A little addition to the Library for stuff about Citan Uzuki (who, by the way, is exceptionally cool.) A fic or two, some drawings...Xenogears: Perfect Works scans...
Pokémon Wing: This little baby contains my Pokédex. The Pokédex is an integrated, cross-referenced one, meaning that clicking on a Pokémon picture will tell you its strengths and weaknesses, plus a list of others of its type. It's sorta not very updated, but the types list is there and many Pokémon pages have original drawings. I plan, stupidly enough, to draw all the Pokémon and post them someday; the drawings are loosely based on the official pictures, but they're actually designed to be what I think a Pokémon would actually look like if they existed in our world.
Scientific Journals: It's a little space set aside for Perceptor and Transformers G1 stuffs. It's awfully small.
Card Catalogue: This place has a little bit of information concerning the authors whose work is hosted here, plus e-mail addresses so you can contact many of them.
Library Exchange: The links! Banners available if you reeeeally want 'em.
Media Center: The new location of multiple game screenshots (including most Final Fantasies, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Lunar: SSSC), WinAmp skins, plus a program download.
Divinities: Deep thoughts on the less than obvious Chirstianity in movies and books...such as The Matrix.
My Fiction: Just has all of my fiction (original and fan) in one place.

Information on the proper uses of the Pokédex

Pokémon Types: Click on any type page to see Pokémon belonging to that particular class. Weakness and strengths detailed!
Pokédex #: A three part Pokédex. Contains .gif's from the actual game. Pictures link to individual Pokédex entries on each Pokémon. Many pages have original drawings also...Magikarp looks a lot better my way, I think!

Character Assassination: What it says on the lable. See Princess Artemis ramble long on Perceptor's character, technology, and other minor etcetera.
Everything I Needed to Know in Life I Learned from Perceptor: I'm sure you've heard it before. Little gems of wisdom with references to which episode they came from.
Damage Toteboard: A very long work-in-progress, this details every bit of damage sustained by any character in the cartoon series.
Site Map: Obvious name for your current cyberspace location.
Fanfiction: A listing of all the Perceptorfic that's fit to print...which is a dismally small offering, innit. My quest: To write more gen Perceptorfic than there is porn Perceptorfic on the 'net. I dare not find out if I'm gaining...
Fanart: Drawings done in various media of various Transformers. Herein I willingly, finally, submit to the non-self-appointed coronation of my humble self as "Queen of Perceptor Fanfic and Fanart". Gah.
"Portraits": Transformer faces drawn in a somewhat organicized style. Cyclonus looks Egyptian...but then, I haven't drawn Mirage this way yet. And I have no idea why Substreaker turned out looking like Leonard Nimoy.
Illustrations: Pictures that occur in the text of my fanfic or my works-in-progress.
Quintessons: Dangit, it's the Five Friggin' Faces! Based on the Movie Quints, this is as close a rendition of their faces as I could get, and it was done entirely so I wouldn't forget for ten years what one of them was and try to find it but fail every time. THERE THEY ARE!
Stupid Transformer Doodles: These things took entire seconds to draw. More an exercize in trying to remember their kibbles and bits than anything, but some of them are cute.
